Walnut Hills Recognized for Educating Black Youth

Congratulations to Walnut Hills High School for being among the first to receive the Award for Excellence from the Caroline and Sigmund Schott Foundation of Massachusetts. The award recognizes excellence in educating young African-American males. The award is national, but all three schools were in Ohio. The other two are in Toledo and Cleveland. [Post]

Hey Westender, have you heard anything about the proposed homeless shelter at the old club chef site in the West End? They are going to clean up Washington Park by moving it to another neighborhood.
